How to engage the media

The Media Network at Program Training and Consultation Centre (resource centre for Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy) has developed tools and resources to assist public health units and non-profit organizations in media relations. Distributing and promoting health information through the media requires a slightly different approach. These resources also recognize that small budgets are a reality for many organizations. Although some examples are around tobacco control, the underlying principles will apply to fall prevention as well.
