Prevent Child Injury

Available in English and French.

This resource is from Prevent Child Injury. This resource provides parents/caregivers with strategies to reduce the risk of injuries in children between 0-36 months of age. In addition to general safety concerns, safety concerns for children are separated into age groups (0-2 months, 3-4 months, 5-6 months, 7-9 months, 10-12 months, 13-15 months, 16-18 months, 19-24 months, and 25-36 months) and answers to the questions: What? (What can my child do now?), So What? (So what can hurt my child?), and Now what? (Now what can I do to keep my child safe?) are provided. With each new skills one's child can do, there may be an increased risk of falls.

This resource was funded by Public Health Ontario and the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation.
