Vision and Safety Activity

This awareness activity is designed to provide staff and/or patients and families awareness on the vision impairment as a risk for falls and how to foster safe environments, especially as it relates to those with vision impairment. It consists of four posters that can be used to evoke thought and discussion. You can also display the posters in your work area for additional awareness building. In addition, teams can use these aids as brief "Huddle Talks” to increase awareness of vision as a risk factor for fall prevention.
